It was a special day of worship, as the team lead in both services through singing and praying and reading Scripture and sharing testimonies of God's work. Sunday School was far too short to hear from the team about how they had seen God's hand in their week in the Czech Republic. And to make my heart even more full with joy, we got to talk about missions even more during the potluck that evening!
A couple in our church is moving to Leipzig, Germany to encourage and build up a church there. God is sending them from South Dayton to minister as they are in retirement. Before the potluck, they shared about how God was calling them and providing for them. After the potluck, I got to share with these beloved saints how God is calling me and providing for me.
My church has seen me graduate from high school and college, get a job and move away to work in North Carolina, and now is helping to send me to Bulgaria (kind of another graduation, right?). These precious saints have been praying for me for years and it is so exciting to see how God is answering their prayers. I loved sharing with them my heart for the gospel, for Bulgaria, and answering questions that they had. It was truly a day of rejoicing in what God has done and is doing in our lives and in the world!
